Here is the rules: Comment on this post and say YO BABY! I WANT TO DO THAT INTEREST MEME or something like that. I will choose seven interests from your profile and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post this along with your answers in your own journal so that others can play along.

1. Band of Brothers
Huge history geek at your service. ;). I love history, especially World War II history. Band of Brothers was a miniseries on HBO several years back about the men of Easy Company. They parachuted into Normandy and fought through France and finally into Germany. I have the whole thing on DVD. It's truelly a gem :).
2. Ed Quinn
*dies* Ed Quinn is the hottest scientist on Sci-fi network's Eureka. Picture
3. Lonesome Dove
What can I say, I also like westerns, a lot. Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones, what more can you ask for. I grew up watching westerns, and this one is my favorite by far.
4. Star Wars
All in all, one could say I am into what my parents are into. I love the original trilogy and worship it as the beginning of the current scifi movement (well, except for Star Trek). Yes, I am a minny trekkie. God, I'm a geek!
5. The Beatles
It's the Beatles. In general I like their mid to late sixties work the best. I love the beatles because they could rock but in the end they did kick arse ballads.
6. The Time Traveller's Wife
One of my favorite books which is just about to made into a movie. I sobbed over the book like crazy. It's by Audrey Niffeneger (probably not spelled right) and I would recommend it to anyone. It made me laugh, made me sob for minutes on end, and made me go WTF, but in an entirely good way. I love it because it totally pushes the buttons of lit. Seriously, one does not often see, the main character having sex with himself in the future and then his father walking in on it. That was the WTF.
7. Trace Adkins
He is currently my favorite male, country solo artist. He's also hot, bottom line.
One could bundle all of these into: bookworm and lovingly geeky.
